Universal Transmission Cooler Fitting Kit – 1/4″ NPS with 6AN and 8AN Options for Common GM and Ford Transmissions

Description

These transmission case fittings will install into your transmission with 1/4 NPS (national pipe straight) threads, and seal with a crush washer. 
Since they seal on the washer, you may need to clean / file the transmission case boss to ensure a good seal, as well as some teflon paste on the threads. 

Choose from 6AN (most common) or 8AN. 

Transmission fitment: 

GM PG / TH350 / TH400 / 700R-4 / 200-4R / 2007 and older 4L60E / 4L65E. May fit later 4L60 cases as well, sizes may be different. SEE BELOW.

Ford C5 / AOD / AODE / 4R70W / E40D / 4R100

*The buyer is responsible to determine which you need, remove the stock adapters and measure the diameter of the threads.  
If measurement is 0.5568″ they are 9/16 – 18.
If they measure 0.521″, the 1/4 NSPT option, which is the most popular, is required.

* Recommended for aftermarket applications.  Not Recommended for OE Vehicles due to the type of lines, this is intended for aftermarket -6 or -8AN lines.*
